Always present yourself like you're not scared to die and convey an attitude of confidence and success at all times and no one will bother you... Be safe, be smart, carry cab money, condoms and a majestic reputation. by Charity Griego
Last week I was around Downtown Las Vegas and I saw tons of women who actually work and live there. So I asked one of them, +Charity Griego, how is to live and work in Downtown Las Vegas; how safe is for a woman getting around, working, living there, and here is what she is saying.

As far as going out Downtown Las Vegas, an independent woman should always watch her surroundings, but downtown is a close knit scene and over time everyone knows everyone.

No matter where you go, when you're out of range of "security" you are "unsafe". Stay in lit areas, around people you know and trust, get to know your neighbors, build community contacts and participate in events.

I also live downtown in a vintage house, built in the forties, it is quaint, quiet and its antique design has a character that beats the cookie cutter HOA's of Summerlin or Henderson.....and the occasional bum, passing by helps me remember where I came from.
My landlord cleans my yard, accepts my deliveries and I have to call him to pick up his rent money. I care for his house as if it were mine and invest money on repairs and upgrades because he gave my daughter and I the opportunity with out hassle or credit checks. Downtown Las Vegas has a sense of community and restoration that other places don't, in making the most of what you have and welcomes all walks of life.
